Pakistan and Egypt agree to open centers for dubbing of films and dramas

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry and Egyptian Ambassador Dr Tariq Drog have agreed to open dubbing centers for translating Pakistani and Egyptian films and dramas.

The Ambassador of Egypt Dr. Tariq Drog called on Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry and discussed issues of mutual interest including drama, film and regional and global situation.

On the occasion, Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan and Egypt have long-standing fraternal relations, the people of both the countries are bound by religious, cultural and fraternal ties, and there is a great cultural heritage between Pakistan and Egypt.

The situation in Afghanistan and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China were also discussed during the meeting.

The Federal Minister said that Pakistan and Egypt have been on equal footing on global issues, a great human tragedy is brewing in Afghanistan, in this situation the Afghan people cannot be left alone, to come forward to help the Afghan people. Egypt should also play its role in this regard. Prime Minister Imran Khan will also discuss the issue of Afghanistan during his visit to China.

The Egyptian ambassador said that he wanted to further develop his relations with Pakistan.
